KFMJ has an opening in our sales department for an outgoing, organized, responsible, creative advertising sales person. Experience is a plus, but we will train the right person. From a pre-set, but flexible list of local businesses, KFMJ Sales Representatives build relationships, help advertisers with advertising strategies, and secure advertising. This is done through regular visits to businesses, phone calls and faxes. We offer many advertising opportunities, including ad packages, seasonal promotions, sponsorships, rate specials, promotional events, etcs., specifically designed to allow clients cost-effective, flexible advetising. You will be trained with sales books and tapes, by shadowing current staff, and hands-on experience. In addition to sales duties, you will will also be asked to voice commercials, aid in production, help design and implement promotions, attend and participate in live remote broadcasts, and other duties as assigned.
